At a time when students around the world boycott their schools on Fridays to raise awareness of climate change across society, to protest, to demand concrete action for our planet and the future of our children. During this time, we would like to help make information and education a more central and visible component of society's response to climate change. And to ensure that this knowledge is applied effectively.
The Climate Academy wants to provide the knowledge necessary to understand climate change and provide skills and tools to understand its causes and consequences.
Our basic courses are free for all students
However, since we also want to work in a climate-neutral way, we have to charge fees for parts of our offer. We invest some of these fees in selected afforestation projects and in special projects that aim to neutralize CO2.
When calculating our fees, we use relevant calculations for CO2 emissions in server environments and the creation and storage of e-books and other data.
It is important for us that people acquire the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes they need to build a green, low-emission and climate-neutral future. Knowledge is offered that enables people to achieve sustainable economic, ecological and social development.
Basic courses are free!
Our tutors were and are students of well-known lecturers from internationally recognized universities. Michael E. Mann, professor at Pennsylvania State University and director at the Center for Earth Sciences (“Earth System Science Center”) is an example.
Our range of interesting courses is constantly being expanded and revised.
We look forward to new tutors and teachers .
